Goodbye 23!
Hussshhh...!! Finally, one more hurdle crossed. Well, it wasn't that easy at all! 23 was the most challenging of all years. Experimented with work, love, friendship, and life. Constantly fought with my heart and mind, to speak or not to speak that was the question. 23 does come with actual responsibilities which we have to carry for the rest of your lives, and which will keep increasing every year as it passes by. Expect less: Trust me life gives you the most when you're least expecting it.
Trust your instincts: Always trust your intuitions, if you feel something's wrong it usually is.
Don't trust anybody at first sight: not everybody is your well-wisher. 23 taught me that love isn't easy, it demands responsibilities, maturity, solidarity, and strength. There is always a constant confusion between emotion and logic. It taught me that work isn't just about showing up, you need to be particular about everything you do. Be precise. Work teaches you the underlying politics, manipulations, rewards, making peace with discomfort and slowly you chose to become a diplomatic person.
It's okay, not to be okay. Sometimes your heart needs time to accept what your mind already knows, just give it that time and everything will be okay. Patience is the Key.
Having a conversation with your parents isn't so bad. Talk to your parents tell them what you feel, what you want from life, let them know "Ke aaj tumhara man nahi hai" and that you cannot pretend to be happy when you're not. Make them understand everything you want them to. Just sit with them and talk your heart out.
Friendships continued to prove their strength and ability to weather any distance.
23 you've shown a lot.
I hope 24 gets what it desires. It will be more about having the strength to let go of things,
and,
Breathe.

ReplyDeleteIf every young person behaves like this, they will not have any problems in their life because if they talk to their parents as a friend, all the problems will go away.
